Schooner Bay Landing Community

Looking for a new home? At Schooner Bay Landing (SBLCA), we know that home is much more than where you lay your head at night. It’s where you work, it’s where you live, where you play. That’s why we want to provide you with all of the information you need to make an informed decision about the community you choose to live in. We want you to be happy with where you choose to live your life. We want to provide you with information about our community, our city, and surrounding areas to help you get to know our neighborhood. Whether you are new to the Southwest Missouri or have lived here for years, we’re here to help you get connected.

Community - Condo Living
Owning a condo is a shared responsibility between the individual home owner and the Association. Although a condo home owner is relieved from the worry of performing routine common area maintenance; being a condo home owner also means that many decision are now made collectively through elected representatives, the Board of Directors.

Neighborhood
Schooner Bay Landing Condominium Association is comprised of 172 units/Homes in 39 buildings.  A building may have 2, 6 or even 12 homes. Green space is plentiful on our 32 acre property which connects with Corp property ending at beautiful Table Rock Lake.  We have no local traffic on our roads which allow for a walk in the neighborhood with very minimal traffic.

Swimming Pools
We have 2 pools located between the Community Center and Office. Our pools open Memorial Day and close shortly after Labor Day - depending on the weather. Pool hours are 9:00 AM - 10:00 PM.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
Our community takes pride in recycling. "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle".  This is truly recycling made easy. Just place all recyclable items (recycling list) in the container located at the dumpster area.  Paper bags are permitted, please no plastic bags.  Republic Services will handle all the sorting. They pick up the recycling dumpster every other week.   Recycling will  preserve our natural resources, conserve energy, help keep air and water clean, and prevent adding to the landfill.

Dry Hydrant
With the help of one of our residents, we were able to install this dry hydrant.  The Fire Department is able to hook up their tanker trucks to Table Rock Lake and supply water to a pumper at the fire location.

Library
The Schooner Bay Association Library is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  There are books, audio books available for our residents and guests to take out.  If you find any books, etc. that you want to read, you simply take them with you.  You don't have to "check them out" as in public libraries.  If you have company for a week or a weekend though, take it and return them when your company leaves.

Community Center
When you walk into the Community Center you will notice a jigsaw puzzle on the table which is for everyone to work on at their leisure.  If you want to get out of the house, come on down and put in some pieces. Chances are someone else will be there too.  If you are going to work on it for a while or sit at the table and read a magazine or something, there is a coffee pot available.  All the supplies are right there.  Residents meet for  every morning  for coffee, exercise, or just visit.

Internet WiFi
WiFi internet is available in the office area for you to use while you are here too. It is password protected, so just stop by the office and sign a Terms of Use Agreement and we will share the password.  You only have to do this the first time you use it.
